MABOLO
Services
Peace and Order
Peace
and order is not much of a problem because
the Mabolo Police Station is right in
the center of the barangay. The barangay
maintains 20 tanod volunteers equipped
with 2 patrol cars and 7 sets of handheld
radios. The curfew ordinance for minor
is strictly enforced. The barangay is
also active in the campaign against
drunkeness and in the awareness drive
against prohibited drugs and child abuse.
Health
and Sanitation
The
barangay maintains a health center in
Juan Luna Avenue and a puericulture
center at the back of the Mabolo Police
Station. These health centers are manned
by 7 health workers.
Education
The
barangay has three pre-schools and an
elementary learning center, all privately
owned, in addition to government-owned.
Outreach
Programs
The
barangay has two daycare centers, one
in Sta. Cruz and the other in PAMAHOMA.
It also organized a livelihood cooperative.
